Come join us at our next NAHN
Due to the Pandemic the NAHN-West Florida meetings are being conducted via Zoom.
February 2018 meeting
Our February meeting was a great success. Our students enjoyed the 2nd part of interviewing and resume writing hosted by our own Melinda Alvear.
We would like to thank Ana G Mendez for hosting us and being so gracious.
We are seeking membership input on topics for future meetings that will help our membership expand their career. Please complete the following surveymonkey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/28M829Y.
Thank you to all who came out to the Pfizer training on Saturday at the University of South Florida. We had over 23 in attendance. We appreciate Pfiezer and Dr. Iglesias for the stellar presentation. If you attended the training or would like to participate in spreading the word on the importance of immunizations to our Hispanic elderly population let us know. If you would like to attend one of the community outreach events please email our chapter president Dr. Ivonne Hernandez at ihernand@health.usf.edu.
We will be sending out via email further information of times and dates of the events. Please stay tuned.
Dr. Rose Nieves
It has been a very exciting time for us here at the West Florida NAHN chapter. We have done multiple outreach events in conjunction with Pfiezer getting the word out to our Hispanic community on the importance of immunizations. Check out our Facebook and Instagram page for pictures of these events.
We would like to invite you to join in our annual Christmas celebration on December 13, 2018 to celebrate all of our accomplishments.
We would like to finish up 2018 with a live meeting on 12/13/18, where we can share our accomplishments, share a festive meal, and start to plan for 2019.
